St. James the Less

Seville Cathedral, Altarpiece of St. Hermenegildo

This statue is identified as St. James the Less by the label that the cathedral has provided for the altarpiece. The saint holds some sort of receptacle in his right hand; it is not among the attributes usually associated with James the Less.
